Originally born in Nigeria, Lanre is a 17-year-old Creative Designer, Social Activist & Podcast and Radio Producer.
Lanre is a Creative Designer focusing on artistic creation of brand identity and brand development. Specialising in Web Development and Graphic Design, but also works in Photography, Videography and Social Media Marketing.
In February 2020, Lanre was elected as one of the Members of the UK Youth Parliament for Leeds, alongside Lois Priestley and Gurman Kaur Dev, in which he represents the views of young people across Leeds on a national level.
Lanre is also a Podcast and Radio Producer, he is the creator behind two shows, Culture Shock: The African Music Podcast and the Creating Change Podcast. Lanre is also the Co-Creator and Producer of COVID & Young People which is all about how Coronavirus affected young people.
Amongst many things, Lanre is also Head of Social Media at the Black Head Students’ Network – a network for current and previous Black Head Boys’ and Girls at secondary schools in the United Kingdom; Regional Leader for the North at Prospect 100 – a network of the world’s leading youth talents, connecting the next generation of industry leaders via competitions and events; and also part of the BiteBack 2030 Youth Board.
